Software is a brilliant evolution of mankind. We call Oppenheimer the American Prometheus for fathering the atomic bomb, but I think the real “modern Prometheus” is Alan Turing himself. Through software you can read this blog, communicate with NLPs, order your food, do your job, and more. Computers are leading us to the next evolution of humanity, thus its purpose and importance are paramount.
Which is why it’s so fucking insane that half of the people in this world don’t know how to write it. Welcome to the rust, a blog that focuses on what I find interesting or, more likely, whatever is pissing me off in the moment. It’s name comes from two places:
- My favorite language is Rust (as of 2025).
- Half of software feels like rust on an otherwise perfect Ferrari.
Enjoy your stay. Remember that I am a victim of my own criticism and will likely write code that will become the source of pain for a future young individual. We should all feel shame for coming here, myself included.
